So I am off today, 'cause I have vacation and tomorrow is my b-day and I am blogging. I hit Renae's web site http://renylousworld.blogspot.com/. She had posted her very creative YMCA video, but noted that one should first pause her playlist. "Playlist," I thought, "Got to get me one of those."
It was pretty fun. Of course, I had a brain freeze about what to put. I mean Iron Maiden- of course- but there needed to be more. I finally just fired up the MP3 player to see what I had on it now. After much bumbling and some more time choosing with playlist.com, I found 10...20...21 songs that I would like to represent- peace out to my homeys on the west side- what goes on in my head.

erik, you crack me up. happy early birthday! did you know it's my dad's birthday today? and that bruce's was this last tuesday? and cheryl clements's is on the 12th? and there were a couple of my exes that had b-days this last week too? september is very busy. oh, and there only appears to be three songs on your playlist. i could be wrong, being distincly techno challenged.
I vaguely remember your dad's being around this time, but not Cheryl or Bruce's. Not up on your exes b-days either. ;)

oh yeah, and john's dad's b-day is around this time too, but no one can remember the exact date. you are in good company.

Happy birthday Erik! Hey have you noticed that ALL of the ads on playlist.com are for "male enhancement"? It's a little embarrassing. I think if I were a dude, I wouldn't want MY face on those ads!

Mary, I am sorry. All my ads on playlist.com have been for music downloads. Maybe you can complain, like I did when my Myspace ads were anti-Mormon. I have not used myspace much since.
johns dad in on the 12th. and its always strang to find out what other people like in the way of music. renae get along pritty good and i think liz and i like similar music. but i know renae dislikes most of the stuff i rock out to.

Thanks for the props on my YMCA! I hope to inspire the world to greater heights with my ingeniusness. Cats and dogs will live together in harmony, Obama, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and many a rap "artist" will be sunk into a black hole. (Oh wait, I can't use the word "black!") All sheep will bow down before the white dolphin of peace, and fluffy little bunnies will rule the earth.
I hope your birthday was a truly distressing reminder of how freaking old you are and what a wasteland you've made of your pointless existance. (kidding, of course.) Happy b-day!
